The Importance of High Payouts
The return, you as a punter receive, is one of the major factors that should never be underestimated when judging a bookie. Best Premier League Betting Offers
When it comes to Premier League betting offers, the bonuses we found from the various bookies are certainly not lacking. There are also numerous promotions on multiple events, such as refunds in the event of a draw, and many other types of deals. In our analysis we have taken into account these proposals and the welcome bonuses available for those who want to bet on Premier League football, as this is very important to seeing how an operator treats its customer.
Live Betting and Streaming
A very important factor in choosing the perfect online bookmaker for the EPL is their live betting offer and streaming service. Therefore, we took the trouble to go and test each operator and see how many real time markets are offered on the Premier League. Of course, we also took into account the quality of infographics and real time statistics. If someone also offered streaming of games… they ranked very highly!
Number of Markets Available
The number of markets on Premier League betting sites is also very important. You want to have the most possible available to you before the game starts. You don’t just want to be able to bet on the outright winner of the game, you want more! So, in our review of the sites this featured heavily in our ranking, as the more choice there is can only be beneficial to you, the punter.

Premier League Betting Markets on Offer
Whether it’s Premier League betting or wagering on another main European League, the main football markets are generally very similar. But what changes most is the statistics of each league. Depending on what is best, you may want to explore certain markets. Below you will find the facts and figures for types of markets on offer. This data is particularly important to understand the trends of the league and potential betting types. Treasure it. If you are looking for a more detailed look check our homepage for more in-depth analysis.
Betting on Single Games
The first markets we want to talk about are those related to matches, or the games, that take place week-in week-out. We will introduce you to some of them in the following sections, but it must be noted that there are many more to be discovered. In the box below you will see who, in our opinion, is one of the top bookmakers of the Premier League.
Full Time Result (1X2) Betting and Stats from the past Season
Let’s start with the most widespread and easy type of bet to place on the Premier League – choosing the final result of the match. Either a home win, draw, or away win. Below you can see the statistics on the results of the 2020/21 season: the home team win was the result that occurred the most, while the draws were the least, even so it is a figure higher than that of a league like the Serie A. These are numbers that once analysed properly can lead you to more reasoned choices, when you decide to place a bet.
There were 144 home wins last season, equating to about 37.89% of the games.
There were 83 draws, which is 21.84% of the games altogether.
Away teams won 153 games, amounting to 40.26% of those played.
Both Teams to Score Betting and Stats
Another popular type of bet is for both teams to score (btts). This means you either back both teams to score (yes), or not (no). The pie chart shows how the 2020/21 season went: the probability of a “No” bet was a little more frequent than the “yes” one. Sometimes this is very team-specific and is a very interesting market to be analysed. In tournaments like the Bundesliga this figure is completely reversed.
Over/Under Betting and Stats
If you think that in the next match between Man City and Chelsea will have more than a total of 4 goals, then you should aim for the Over. If you think that defense will dominate a game, and there will only be a maximum of 2 goals, then choose the Under. This type of bet is based on predicting whether there will be more or less goals of a fixed amount. Usually this figure is 2.5 (but is open to change). In the 2020/21 season there were more games ending in Over, as seen in the graph. Make your own assessments and choose which of the two to bet on in the next game! Be careful though, in the La Liga, the opposite occurred, so be aware of this when analysing this stuff!
Outright Betting on the Premier League
Betting on single games is obviously not the only type of market proposed by Premier League betting sites. In fact, there are also the so-called outright or antepost bets, i.e. on events of longer duration, such as the entire championship, and that are related to the final result of the tournament. In the following paragraphs we will examine the types of bets and the statistics for some of the more popular ones.
The Premier League Winner Bets
Since 2004, when Arsenal hoisted the trophy, there have been few surprises as to who won the league outright. The teams that won could be counted on three fingers, the two clubs from Manchester (United and City) and Chelsea. However there has been one big exception: Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester in the 2015/16 season. If you decide to place money on this market on, do not underestimate this information, as surprises very rarely happen, but when they do, they payout big!
League Winner Without the Champion Bets
We also found that betting on Premier League also includes the “winner without first place” market. Translated, this means that you bet on the runner-up. In recent seasons, there have been several teams that finished second. The level of risk on this market is therefore quite high. Think of the 2015/2016 season, the one won by Leicester: Ranieri’s team were only challenged by Tottenham throughout the season, yet they were overtaken by Arsenal on the last day.
Team to Get Relegated Bets
Which three clubs will be relegated to Championship? A difficult bet, but not impossible. Just look at the number of seasons each team has appeared in the league. Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are the teams with the most, having never been relegated. West Ham, even though they have been relegated before, have 23 seasons. The clubs with the fewest appearances as of the 2020/21 Premier League are Barnsley (1), Blackpool (1), Burnley (2), Cardiff City (2) and Watford (2). Often times it is the promoted clubs that struggle to stay up.
Top Scorer Bets
One of the most fascinating outright Premier League betting categories is predicting the top scorer. Premier League clubs boast teams filled with superstars like no other championship in the world. Many players are capable of getting the crown. Last year Saleh definitely surprised everyone with the amount of goals he scored, but will he be able to repeat himself? There’s no shortage of competitors. If you need some advice, bet on who plays for a top-4 team. History, at least, says that this is where the winner will come from.
All the Information You Need About the Premier League
|Year of foundatio||1992|
|Number of teams||20|
|Champions League places||4|
|Europa League places||3|
Many people don’t know that the Premier League was only founded in 1992 after the schism with the English Football League. The latter can boast of being the oldest football competition in the world, founded in 1888, and now organises divisions in the three lower leagues. The top-tier is now made up of 20 teams (until 1995 there were 22). The formula is that of the classic championship with a double round-robin system.
The points assigned in each game are three to the winning team, zero to the losing team and one in case of a draw. The top four qualify for the next Champions League, while from fifth to seventh the team gains qualification to the Europa League the following year. The last three teams are relegated to the Championship. As we all know, there used to be a ‘big four’ and now there is generally seen that there are a ‘big six’. These are the teams that usually finish in the top six places and it is very rare for other teams to breach the barrier. Even so, it remains an exciting league to watch, especially as title challenges usually go to the last day of the season.
The Premier League can be considered one of the most international leagues’ in the world, with players of over 20 different nationalities taking part. At the start of the 2021/22 season, only four managers out of 20 were of English! The PL is also known to be the richest football league in the world, thanks to the high value of television rights, which in the 2020/21 season amounted to upwards of £5 billion. With the top clubs earning £150m and the lower clubs £94m. In the meantime, the Premier League brand generates so much money that it has given up having an official title sponsor.
- Top overall bookie
- Great odds on offer
- Plenty of markets to choose

Who Are the Most Supported Teams in the League?
We believe we do not offend anyone by saying that the atmosphere in English stadiums is amongst the best in the world of football. The chorus of sound that rises from the stands bring shivers down the spine and the passion of the fans goes beyond the normal love for a football team. But which clubs are the best supported? The first three are also the most successful (Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal). The Gunners are followed by Chelsea and in the following chart you can discover the others.
We thought we’d now go into team records that are still valid today. What must be noted is that these are records for the PL, and so they are rather modern. We list them below.
Team with the most consecutive wins
With 18 consecutive victories between 26.08.2017 and 27.12.2017 Manchester City hold the prestigious distinction of having won the most games in a row in the PL. The previous record was held by the Arsenal who had 14 victories in 2002. Liverpool tied the record during the 2019/20 season.
Team with the most seasons in the league
The other team from Liverpool, Everton, have been in the top-flight for an astonishing 116 seasons! There have, however, been 6 teams to be in the PL from its 1992 inception.
Team with the longest unbeaten streak in the league
The Invincibles were arguably the greatest ever team. Arsenal managed to go the whole 2003/4 season without losing. That record was stopped by Man Utd at 49 on 24 October 2004.
Team with the fewest goals conceded in a season
This record goes to Mourinho’s men. In 2004/2005 Chelsea only conceded 15 goals, and captained by John Terry they won the league comfortably, only losing one game and winning 29!
Team with the most goals in a season
Yes, it’s those Citizens again. Unsurprisingly the same season they won the most games in a row, they also scored the most goals. They registered a whopping 106 goals in 38 games.

History of the Premier League and Betting
The Premier League, as already mentioned above, began in 1992, after the split from the English Football League. Until then the this was the only body in charge of the professional leagues. Brits have an affinity with betting on football and sport in general. This tradition has roots back to 1923, when Littlewoods, a company from Liverpool, began offering bets outside of Old Trafford, home of Manchester United. However, this activity was not yet considered legal and it was only in May 1961, as a result of the Betting and Gaming Act, that the existing unlicensed Premier League bookmakers began to proliferate. A further boost to betting was given in 2001 with the abolition of the 9% betting tax, which was previously paid by bettors. Importantly, a year later, the possibility of placing money on a single game was allowed. Until then, the minimum was three games.
Betting on the Premier League: How Do You Go About It?

Of course, the PL is one of the most spectacular leagues in the world and the results are not as predictable as they can be in other countries. Biggest odds to win the league

Betting on the kids
Sometimes, you see the little ones running around, and think they would make great footballers. Some parents and grandparents take this one step further and place money down on this happening. When Lewis Cook made his debut for England in 2018 his Grandfather’s faith was rewarded with £20,000!
In the 2013/2014 season a pensioner from Wales put £1 on a 15-game accumulator. If all the results came in it would’ve netted him a cool £1 million. 14 of 15 did. 1 game didn’t, Man Utd’s loss to Liverpool. Thanks, David Moyes!
Very often our victories were squeaked out in the last few minutes after we had drained the life from our opponents. Games – like life – are all about waiting for chances and then pouncing on them.

I already have an account with another operator. Should I register for a new account anyway?
