This is the first time the 888sport brand has been available for customers in the US. In a press release announcing the launch, the company states that it plans to launch in other US states once regulation allows it.

The sportsbook is supported by Kambi and offers a range of sports and betting markets across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

888 already has a presence in the state with its 888casino and 888poker brands. The sportsbook will leverage backend systems, CRM and marketing capabilities from these existing brands to maximize return on investment (ROI).

Furthermore, it will allow customers to play casino, poker, and bet on sports, all from a single login and bankroll.

Speaking about the launch, Itai Frieberger, CEO of 888Sport, said:

The launch of 888sport.com in New Jersey is a major milestone for the Company in our ongoing expansion across the regulated U.S. online gaming market and provides 888 with a unique and truly multi-product proposition in what is currently the largest regulated U.S state. 888 has been committed to developing its position in the U.S. since launching in Nevada, the first regulated U.S. state, nearly six years ago and today we are the only operator with a presence in all three regulated U.S. states. We now have our sport, casino and poker products all operational in the U.S. and are continually developing our proposition, brands and technology to ensure that the Group remains exceptionally well positioned to capture the potentially significant future growth opportunities as new regulation allows.Itai Frieberger, 888 CEO

This is the latest in a number of updates in New Jersey over recent months.

The group have added over 200 games to its partner casinos Caesars Entertainment, as well as extending its poker network to include the state. That means that poker fans in Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey can play against one another.
